We came up with with the name Nok­tune because of a par­tic­u­lar pas­sion that some may view as an obses­sion.  We tend to start a project the moment we come up with the idea, regard­less of time.  If we decide a car could use “x” part at 11 P.M., that car will imme­di­ately get that part and often take us into the early morn­ing before we’re sat­is­fied.  “Nok” comes from work­ing late into the night, hence noc­tur­nal.  “Tune” is the obvi­ous term for mod­i­fy­ing or tweak­ing a car.  We felt this name suits our style well and exem­pli­fies how strong our pas­sion is for the auto scene.
